To the WINNER the SPOILS !

It shows dad with his Trophies to that date, he collected many more as he competed actively up to 1939

This photograph was taken in 1934

We had a display cabinet at home and it was a once a year job to clean all the silverware. Each of the silver teaspoons lying at the front represents a win. There are 9 here and we finished up with the full set of 12. The Eagle was again first prize in a speed scramble, I have used this as a Car Mascot on occasion !!

The Seaplane Trophy on the second row is a copy of the Schneider Trophy one and is mounted on a (used!) High compression piston from an O.K.Supreme motorcycle. It was awarded as first prize in a speed event.
