More Brough pictures - 2

WG 396 is a 1931 Stirlingshire Registration number, and the Brough is a Black Alpine 680 O.H.V. outfit.
The twin headlamps were a factory option.
This photo with Dad sitting on the bike was taken outside the Lothian Road Showroom when it was new.
This Brough is still in Edinburgh, I hope to see it, and possibly
get a modern photo of it.... Here they are !!

Stewart McLaren, has owned WG396 from 1964 and is still the proud owner of it today (amongst some other bikes!)
He has very kindly sent me photo's of it taken in 1964 and 1980 and allowed me to put them in the site to let you see them.

'Look's much the same' I hear you say ?, well, yes they are, except for the period pillion for some brave person. Can you just imagine the ride you would get sitting above the wheel spindle like that ?

All I can tell you at the moment is that this Brough Superior was owned by the same person for 73 YEARS !!
