Think this is the same bike, a Martynside, but with a sidecar attached as shown solo elsewhere in memories. Dad sitting on it. |
The one on the right is another rare one, a 'Coulson B' with side-car. |

This one is also a mystery, the bike is obviously a tuned one, but I do not know what it is. Note the front brake,( the small inner ring on the front wheel),and straight through exhaust with carburettor extended intake. I have spent many hours polishing out the ports on an engine when we were trying to get some more speed out. |

Side-cars were very popular at this time as a cheap means of transport. |

We also used to make our exhaust pipes from copper tubing...looked great, and sounded even better !! You should hear this on a Two-Stroke engine !!! If anybody recognises what it is, please let me know !! |
