Memories 9

Some more photo's of different bikes and places

Think this is the same bike, a Martynside, but with a sidecar attached as shown solo elsewhere in memories. Dad sitting on it.

The one on the right is another rare one, a 'Coulson B' with side-car.

This one is also a mystery, the bike is obviously a tuned one, but I do not know what it is. Note the front brake,( the small inner ring on the front wheel),and straight through exhaust with carburettor extended intake. I have spent many hours polishing out the ports on an engine when we were trying to get some more speed out.

Side-cars were very popular at this time as a cheap means of transport.
I will show you the only alternative to them, but they were much more expensive to run...the SMALL CAR

We also used to make our exhaust pipes from copper tubing...looked great, and sounded even better !! You should hear this on a Two-Stroke engine !!!

If anybody recognises what it is, please let me know !!
( could it be a 'Rover TT ?)
