Memories 3

This is my mothers brother on his 350cc AJS (bought from Dad of course !).This is the standard one..compare it to the Big Port Dad is on in memories 1
Taken around early 1920's, this bike is slightly newer by the registration no.

This next one is one of Mum, taken 1932, and a great friend of the family called Tommy Hughson on his Zenith V Twin.

The one below is Taken on one of the outings of the 'Corstorphine & District Motorcyle Club'. This was the club Dad was in, it was very active in all aspects of Motorcycling, road runs and especially in any kind of Competitive sport on bikes. It had a huge membership, and a very good social membership.

Just look at the line up! Scott, International Norton, OK Supreme and a Zenith. Dated 1932, the Norton Reg no. SC4659 is 1929.

On these outings, it was usual to pick a spot in the country, good for a picnic, but also one that had a good steep hill beside it.

It would then be a case of finding out who could go the fastest up, or the furthest up if it was very steep.
