The top image is of the 1927 Brough-Superior Vee Four.

All that remains of this machine is the engine and gear box. George Brough sold these parts to Albert Wallis about 1972, if my memory is correct. I do not know if he ever managed to restore the machine, but I remember reading about the mammoth task it was going to be. I think it was going to be shown at Olympia in 1927, but it was never put on the market. It still looks a 'Modern ' Bike , even today.
