Can you Help with information ?
David
Madden now has the Brough-Superior SS80 shown on the left. The Registration
No. is DSP 420
It was first registered with Fife County Council in Scotland,
on 23rd. January 1940.
Nothing is known about it from that date, until
the early 1960's, when it turned up in the South Manchester/ Cheshire area with
a sidecar attached.He would
like to find who the first owner was, but sadly all records held by the Tax
office have been destroyed, and Rossleigh of Edinburgh, who supplied it new,
have no longer got any records.
DSP 420 has now been restored to the condition it should be in, but David would
like to know about the missing part of it's history. If you can help please E-MAIL and the information will be passed
on.
What does David do
in his spare time ? Click on the picture of his Brough to find out !!
Now
then, here is a find for you !
Robert Muller from Germany has found this 1926, 5-15 J.A.P. 680cc engined Brough
- Superior, just shows that they can still turn up !!
As you can see, it is not complete
and needs a great deal of work.
Robert would most grateful for any help you could offer by way of parts or photographs
of the model.
He has little information about the bike ( Frame no. 838 ), so any help at all would be most welcome.
